Look at fake without fear. Rules change and succumb with laughs. Flesh manifests its honesty and dance take place as a transformative and carnivalesque collective rite. FAKE uses a feeling of lightness and frivolity, a space of everyday humour, to reach the weird reality of transforming as a need, to feel and perceive, being alive.
Manuela Bernasconi is a performer, choreographer and producer. She trained at Scuola Italiana Danza in Milan, at CND in Paris and in Tel Aviv under the direction of choreographer Ohad Naharin in Gaga movement language. From 2009 to 2018, she directed the training and creation center MotoPerpetuo in Lugano, which allowed her to experiment, research and implement creative processes that led to the production and realisation of performances, plays and films. In 2016, she co-founded the association Xocolat in Fribourg, for the mobility of creativity, where she works in the production of cultural development projects, creations, festivals and educational projects.
