Strasbourg et en suivant les rues de la ville. Elle avance lentement, parfois vacillante, sans jamais se retourner, transformant les parcours familiers en terrain étrange. Le concept de la fugologie se manifeste ici comme la vie et le mouvement poursuivant leur cours indépendamment de l’intention humaine, remettant en question les notions de progrès et de direction.

Ekaterina Shcherbakova lives and works in Paris. She is a graduate of the Ecole du Magasin (Grenoble, France), the Art Department at Paris 8 University, and the Marina Abramović Institute. She has collaborated with institutions such as Parc Saint-Léger, CAP Saint-Fons, the Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art, the Venice Biennale, and others.
Her practice is rooted in performance and process. She delves into the depths of autofiction and develops her work around themes such as the female experience, motherhood, the sacred, and the political.

J’ai appris que dans le cycle de l’eau, tout revient à l’océan, et donc aux sirènes. C’est la théorie du ruissellement : si les plus riches créent de la richesse, ils investissent, consomment, créent des emplois. Cette richesse ruissellerait ensuite vers les sirènes, à travers plus d’opportunités, de services, d’innovation et de pouvoir d’achat. Mais nous autres sirènes, ça fait bien longtemps qu’on ne croit pas au ruissellement.
I’ve learned that in the water cycle, everything returns to the ocean—and thus to the mermaids. That’s the trickle-down theory: if the wealthiest create wealth, they invest, consume, and create jobs. That wealth would then trickle down to the mermaids, through more opportunities, services, innovation, and purchasing power. But we mermaids haven’t believed in trickle-down for a long time.

Elisa Sanchez is an artist-astronaut living and working in Strasbourg, where she has been a resident at Bastion XIV since 2024. A 2021 graduate of HEAR, she has presented her work in Alsace, Switzerland, as well as in Paris, Luxembourg, Shanghai, and Milan. Through writing, video, and performance—whether alone or with friends—she explores a practice attentive to production conditions, the economy of means, and a gentle yet committed presence. Her work features melancholic cowboys, unionist mermaids, and love-struck aliens who question work and money and invent sparkling tools to transform the world.

Léa Kieffer is a French performer, choreographer, and costume and clothing designer based in Berlin. Her work explores processes of transformation as well as the dialogue between imagination and physicality through dance, bodywork, and craftsmanship, in hybrid and transdisciplinary formats. Her dance is influenced by a background in sports and craftsmanship, as well as by training in postmodern dance focused on improvisation, particularly contact improvisation and somatic practices. Drawing on this diverse body of knowledge, she has developed a practice that includes performance for an audience, performed improvisation, the creation of her own pieces, teaching and research through somatic practices, as well as the creation of clothing and costumes for the stage. All of her practices are rooted in the development of new narratives of the body and movement, drawing particular inspiration from science fiction, action films, and B-movies. Her current research, « Sci fi anatomy, » is a hybrid performance-workshop that creates a dialogue between the materiality of the body and the ocean of our thoughts. Since 2012, she has been creating, alongside her creative partner Rocio Marano under the name Los(t) Ninjas, multimedia performances such as « Matter of Blood » and « Blind Date (Literally), » as well as « Los(t) Ninjas Practice » workshops, all while sharing a life adventure.

Born in 1963, Lösel Eckbert studied Graphical Design from 1982 to 1990 with Prof. Albrecht Ade at the Staatliche Akademie der Künste in Stuttgart. From 1990, he dedicated himself exclusively to painting with natural colours through Das Gute Bild, which he pursued until 1996 in Stuttgart. He then turned to the comic project Spackn between 1996 and 2003, working between Stuttgart and Berlin. During that same period, from 1998 to 2000, he was part of the artist group T.R.O. in Berlin-Oberschöneweide. From 2003 to 2012, he practised plein air landscape painting with his Naturfarbenbilder between Freising and Karlsruhe. Since 2012, he has continued his work in Karlsruhe, painting exclusively with natural colours.
