Two She‘s in the same room, two bodies.
Video: One of them stays by herself, she discovers and "measures" an empty space. She doesn‘t adress or speak.Yet she is adressed by the other She. Live: The other is there in the room with the audience. She interacts with a rectangle of light on the floor.She underlines the movement of her virtual twin on screen with language+movements.The common ground of both She‘s is the longing, the desire for the other, for each other.
Lena Heinz, 27, works in Stuttgart, Germany, where she is currently in her Postgraduate of the Performance Colllective "Discoteca Flaming Star". In her texts, Performances and expansive installations Heinz retraces the different layers of interpersonal communication and studies how apparent antagonisms like closeness and distance, dependence and emancipation shape both our verbal and non-verbal communication, human relationships and the relation and the contact with ourselves.
